Advanced Wound Care 2026
A Market Built on Real, Sustained Demand
Wound care has quietly become one of the most consistently growing segments in global healthcare and the data confirms it's not a temporary trend, but a structural shift in how the world manages chronic disease and aging.
According to Global Market Insights, the global wound care market grew from USD 22.4 billion in 2022 to USD 24.9 billion in 2024, a historic growth rate of approximately 5.4%, after regaining momentum in 2021 as pandemic-related disruptions eased and patient volumes for chronic wound treatment steadily climbed through 2022 and 2023. By 2025, the market reached USD 26.3 billion.

Fortune Business Insights
That momentum isn't slowing down. Looking ahead, the market is projected to grow from USD 27.7 billion in 2026 to USD 47 billion by 2035, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.1%.
